Ing. Kwasi Nyamekye

As the CEO and visionary of Vester Oil Mills, Ing. Nyamekye’s leadership acumen and dedication to industry development are evident. He proudly stands as the current Chairman of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI), representing the Ashanti, Bono, Bono East, and Ahafo regions.
Ing. Nyamekye’s educational background is distinguished by a degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), coupled with an Executive Masters in Business Administration from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
His academic achievements are matched by a robust track record in the field, particularly with his 13 years of hands-on experience in gold mining, which includes significant roles at Bogoso Gold Limited, Prestea Sankofa Gold Mining Limited, and Ashanti Gold, Bibiani Limited.
In 2000, his expertise took him across borders to Tanzania’s Geita Gold Mine as a Plant Metallurgist.
Following the acquisition by Anglogold and the subsequent transformation into AngloGold Ashanti, he returned to Ghana in 2006, where he took on the leadership of the company.
Beyond his responsibilities, Ing. Nyamekye is deeply embedded in Ghana’s academic and technological development landscape.
He holds significant positions as a Council member for the Technology Consultancy Centre (TCC) associated with Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi.
Moreover, his commitment to technical education is further evidenced by his role as a Council member at Kumasi Technical University (KsTU).
An inspiring motivational speaker, he has significantly contributed to various workshops and seminars across Ghana and West Africa, sharing his insights and inspiring emerging professionals.
Through his leadership roles, academic achievements, and vast industry experience, Ing. Nyamekye continues to be a pivotal figure in Ghana’s industrial and educational sectors.
Vester Ruth Nyamekye
GENERAL MANAGER
As the General Manager, Mrs. Nyamekye exemplifies commitment and dynamism in her approach to leadership. She boasts an impressive academic background, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University College of Education, Winneba (now known as AAMUSTED) at its Kumasi Campus.
Further enhancing her academic credentials, she pursued and successfully acquired a Master’s degree in General Management from Central University, Accra – Ghana.
Mrs. Nyamekye’s dedication to knowledge and imparting is evident in her 9 enriching years in the teaching profession, during which she was distinguished with a teaching license from Wesley College.
Her passion for education and her drive for entrepreneurial success converged when she made the bold decision to transition from her teaching career. She joined hands with her husband, Mr. Kwasi Nyamekye, working diligently side by side to bring the shared vision for Vester Oil Mills to fruition.
Her combined experience in academia and business equips her with a unique perspective and approach, making Mrs. Nyamekye an invaluable asset to the management team.

Nicholas Anokye
FINANCE MANAGER
Serving as the Finance Manager at Vester Oil Mills, Nicholas Anokye brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the financial helm of the company.
His academic foundation is rooted in the world of finance and accounting, having obtained a Bachelor of Education in Accounting Studies from the University of Education (UEW), Winneba.
His commitment to professional excellence is further exemplified by his membership with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Ghana.
Nicholas’s professional journey is marked by a significant tenure at the Finance Department of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), where he rendered his expertise for seven years. This experience at KNUST not only honed his financial acumen but also gave him a profound understanding of financial operations in academic institutions.
His pursuit of knowledge did not stop at the undergraduate level. Nicholas further expanded his financial knowledge base by acquiring a Master of Business Administration in Finance from KNUST.
Joining Vester Oil Mills in 2017, he has been instrumental in steering the company’s financial direction, ensuring stability, growth, and adherence to the highest standards of financial integrity.
Nelson Yeboah Otchere
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Leading the charge in growth and expansion is our Business Development Manager, Nelson Yeboah Otchere. His role is pivotal, overseeing marketing strategies and charting new territories in business development.
Nelson’s academic background is both diverse and impressive. He graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi.
Not one to rest on his laurels, he further pursued a Master’s Degree in Statistics from the University of Warwick, London. This unique blend of engineering and statistics equips him with a multifaceted perspective, making him adept at analyzing market trends and devising effective business strategies.
Adding to his list of credentials, he is a member of The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIMG), Ghana, reflecting his commitment to continuously refining his marketing skills.
His unwavering dedication to Vester is evident in his tenure, having enriched the company with his expertise for the past 13 years.

Rajkumar Yadav
PRODUCTION MANAGER
Rajkumar, our Production Manager, brings a wealth of experience and technical expertise to Vester Oil Mills.
With a track record spanning several significant roles in prominent companies, he has proven his mettle in diverse production environments.
Beginning his journey with Swadisht, India, Rajkumari’s dedication and expertise in production operations quickly became evident. His tenure at S.N.G. Solvent Private Limited further honed his skills as he undertook pivotal roles as a Solvent Extractor Plant Operator and oversaw Mechanical Maintenance.
His stint at Sanjeev Agro Private Limited as an S.E.P. operator for mechanical maintenance reinforced his position as a leading figure in production management.
Notably, his leadership capabilities shone brightly during his time with Kumar Metal Industries, India, where he seamlessly managed responsibilities as Site in Charge.
Rajkumar’s diverse experiences across these companies have not only enriched his technical prowess but also equipped him with an unmatched understanding of production nuances.
