Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in Kumasi for an Industrial Electrical Engineer. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and supervising electrical control systems and equipment for the company, ensuring safe and reliable plant operations that meet the production and maintenance needs of the organization. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot technical problems and provide customized solutions, and you will work closely with operators, maintenance teams, and other engineers to develop and implement best practices in electrical engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical control systems, automation, instrumentation, and process control
- Experience with power distribution and motor control systems
- Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, and other control systems software
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with process safety management, reliability engineering, and maintenance practices is a plus
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus
