Opportunity
We are currently seeking a passionate and dynamic individual to join our team as a Human Resource Manager. This role presents a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in shaping our organizational culture and driving our people strategy forward.
Responsibilities
As the Human Resource Manager at Vester Oil Mills Limited, you will:
- Develop and implement effective human resource strategies, policies, and procedures to support organizational objectives.
- Lead recruitment and talent acquisition efforts, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent.
- Oversee employee relations, including performance management, employee engagement, and conflict resolution.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with industry standards.
- Provide leadership and guidance on training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labour laws and regulations.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion.
About You
We are seeking a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in human resource management, preferably within the manufacturing or FMCG industry. The ideal candidate should be 55 years old or above and have at least 15 years of relevant experience. While specific qualifications and experiences are preferred, we welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds who are eager to contribute to our mission.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Masters/MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in human resource management, with a track record of success.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR management tools.
- Knowledge of labour laws and regulations.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to drive organizational change.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with employees at all levels.
